Shorten links in ChatGPT

Connect the URL shortener once and ChatGPT makes short links, changes where they go and tells you how many clicks each one got, without leaving the conversation.

Steps

  1. Copy the MCP server URL from the connect page.
  2. In ChatGPT, add it as a connector (Settings › Apps & Connectors) and sign in with your email when asked.
  3. Paste a long link and ask "shorten this for my bio". The short link shows up in the chat with a Copy button.
  4. Later, ask "how many clicks did that link get this week?"
